Sales Executive

Primary Role: Grip Tight Tools is seeking to hire a Sales Executive with a primary focus on business development and the ability to contribute to our company’s expanding sales objectives. This individual will have previous experience maintaining long-term successful relationships with clients and national sales representatives nationwide. The role requires leadership experience, as the individual will be in charge of recruiting, hiring, and basic training of new sales representatives, and possibly travel to assist them in the expansion of their territories.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Executive.
  • The ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
  • The ability to use creativity and thorough knowledge of company’s product to provide innovative ideas for business growth.
  • Must have excellent negotiation skills.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Ability to travel within territory as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Recruit and hire national sales reps.
  • Cultivate new business relationships on an ongoing basis and manage existing customer base.
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key business owners.
  • Provide excellent service to assigned accounts and create and maintain goodwill with all customers (e.g., great communication, rapport building, attentiveness to customers’ needs, etc).
  • Grow sales volume, market share, product distribution, and ensure guaranteed customer satisfaction for all assigned accounts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience as a successful field sales representative.
  • Experience recruiting and building a sales force.
  • Nationwide connection with qualified sales reps and groups in the hardware and building supply industry.
  • Established rapport with potential customers nationwide.
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.

Compensation: Negotiable.
